A printed circuit board, or PCB, is used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive traces etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate, or base material. It is also referred to as printed wiring board (PWB) or etched wiring board.

PCB’s are rugged, inexpensive, and can be highly reliable. They require much more layout effort and higher initial cost than either wire-wrapped or point-to-point constructed circuits, but are much cheaper and faster for high-volume production. Much of the electronics industry's PCB design, assembly, and quality control needs are set by standards that are published by the IPC organization.

For more than 20 years, MWI has been an expert in the domestic and international production of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). MWI partners produce a full-range of product from standard single and double-sided boards to complex, high-performance, high-density circuits typical in multi-layer PCB's.  MWI can meet a wide range of needs from proto-types, pilot runs, pre-burn-in/post-production tests, to low volume/high mix PCB’s with a variety of materials, manufacturing processes and mounting techniques.
