We should level with you.  Our customers didn’t think we were different when they started doing business with M-Wave International (MWI).  Like most, they had production requirements on engineered custom products; wanted it quoted cheap, but sourced in Asia. The requirements likely entailed low volumes but high mixes of products most vendors either weren’t interested in or could not handle.
