One crucial step is our Re-Test Program. Your shipment will be directly
shipped to our state-of-the-art Testing Department.
Electrical re-testing of sample batches of your boards takes place; either on a
bed-of-nails or in a flying-head-probe tester. The choice depends on technology
and quantity of boards to be tested. The bed-of-nails is best for high quantity
boards due to its high fixture costs which accelerates for double-sided
testing with SMDs on both sides. The flying-head-probe style tester works for
lower quantities and especially if they have extremely complex geometries
down to 0.005" SMD pads.
Once re-tested, a final visual inspection takes place before packing and shipping
to your dock door...all on time!
